Prime Video used to be tied to your Amazon account, but since you can now purchase it as a standalone subscription, you can create up to six profiles in the same way that you can on services like Netflix or Disney+. To do this, you have to log into the Prime Video app on your iOS or Android device, Fire TV, a connected device like a Roku or PlayStation 5, or even the Prime Video website.
To set up a profile on a connected device, you’ll go to the silhouette icon in the top menu, and you can either create a new profile or edit an existing profile. On the website, you’ll go to the Prime Video home page and select the profile name next to Who’s Watching to make adjustments to profiles. Once set up, you can log in under different profiles and access Prime Video. If you want to set age restrictions and other limitations, skip down to our parental controls tip below.
